The match report said dour, I don't think so. Weather was poor but crowd was great, and both teams tried to keep it on the ground. Much better to watch than the smack it to the channels approach much seen last year. 3-0 was flattering, but on the whole Town's defence looked more shaky than United's, and once again United's midfield played calmly without dominating the opposition. Young's speed and Collier's strength meant there was always a chance of a goal, so a United win was the mostly likely outcome as far as I was concerned.
Totally agree. The bunch of players we have here at present are a great bunch. The unity between them is clear to see and Bourno is doing a great job. Lets push on and get up the table!! The support at the moment is also very good,its great to here so much noise at games. Lets hope some of these fans go to North Leigh on Monday and hopefully inspire us to another local derby win!!
